
This recipe is a weekly winner in our house! Whenever we meal prep these keto-friendly meatballs, they never last through the week. I love making them because they’re incredibly simple and absolutely delicious. When we were following the carnivore diet, these fit perfectly into our meal plan—definitely “carnivore-friendly” in my book.
These juicy meatballs aren’t just great for meal prepping weeknight dinners—they also make a perfect protein-packed snack. This recipe is sure to become a family favorite. No more dreading leftovers—our family can’t get enough of them!

Here are the key ingredients to make these keto meatballs:
- Ground beef
- Ground sausage
- Parmesan cheese
- Eggs

HOW TO MAKE THESE KETO MEATBALLS
Start off by preheating a pan on medium heat. While the pan is heating up dice one medium-sized onion and add it to the hot pan along with a small pat of butter. Cook the onions until they become soft and translucent.

Then while the onions are cooking, prepare the meat mixture. In a large bowl add the following ingredients: ground beef, ground sausage, eggs, parmesan cheese (I personally think grated Kraft parmesan works best), and the seasoning. For the spice mix, I include salt, pepper (of course), garlic powder, and Badia complete seasoning.
After the onions have cooled slightly, add them to the bowl and mix until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated. Be careful not to overmix—doing so can lead to meatballs that are dense instead of tender.
Shape the meat mixture into evenly sized meatballs (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes. If your meatballs are larger, they may need additional time. Make sure they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.

Tip: To prevent the meatball mixture from sticking to your hands, fill a small bowl with water and lightly wet your hands before shaping each meatball. This simple trick makes the process much easier and less messy!

Keto Meatballs
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- ¼ parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Badia complete seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Dice the onion and sauté in a pan with butter until soft and translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, eggs, Parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Add the cooked onions to the bowl and mix everything together until just combined.
- Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking, then form the mixture into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until they reach 160°F inside.
- Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
